I don’t know about you but I can get lost on the internet finding more creative ideas than I know what to do with. From Google to blogs to Pinterest the ideas are limitless…if fact I have so many ideas that I end up not finishing what I started. This blog is about changing that. With this blog I hope to document what happens with all of the inspiration that’s found on the internet, TV, magazine. I’ll take my inspiration and show you what the outcome is! Sometimes I will have many inspiration pieces that I’ll make my own and then there will be times that an idea is so perfect for what I’m looking for that I’ll attempt to recreate exactly…and I’ll show you the outcome and you can decide how I did.
Dive Right In
Welcome to “The Daily Dabble”. I am a huge fan of blogs-I follow lots of them and check them everyday. I have for years! For years I have wanted to start a blog but have had one excuse or another. As you will come to learn about me, I want everything to be figured out and just perfect before sharing. I’ve just had my third baby and realized that I started thinking about this when my first child was just a baby…she’s about to turn 7!
I have this mindset that I can do absolutely anything. Shame on HGTV, DIY, FOODTV, and of course Pinterest! When we got married back in 2005, my husband gave a toast and nicknamed me “Martha Villa” (Martha Stewart, Bob Vila). You see, I had more tools than my husband when we dated and I was always up to something creative either in the kitchen or elsewhere. Fast forward nearly 9 years and I am still always up to something new.
I love to ‘dabble’ in all things creative. In particular I love sewing, baking and home improvement. I hope you will join me on this new adventure!
dab·ble [dab–uhl]
